Others are dealing with split families, abusive relationships, or struggles in school. On the other hand, some challenges are positive, such as studying for good grades, replacing a bad habit with a good one, being part of an athletic team, or leading a friend to Christ. In Psalm 20, David prayed for victory in battle. His prayer illustrates the best way to face any challenge-to have God on your side. This session focuses on the challenges you face and how God can-and does-work though your situations. ASK:  * List the three most difficult challenges that high school students face. * What are the most common?  * Which ones would they rate as most difficult? Why or why not? Pick one of the following situations and answer the questions below. a. Kerry likes to date-and she wants to keep her dating life wholesome and fun. b. Skye wants to get her best friend involved in church. c. Alexis has decided to stay away from alcohol, but some of her friends drink-especially at parties. d. Juan, Drew, and Maria are best friends. Their school morale is at an all-time low due to violence, drugs, and the like-but these three friends want to work to improve things.
