1998 1998 Worship Caravan was "God's Creation" Description by destination: Yellowstone There were 48 youth and 10 sponsors. (May be wrong, the biggest busses only hold 56 total.)
Sponsors:
They traveled 3,100 miles. Providing eight worship services and traveling through four states; Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. They traveled to the following locations: Wheat Ridge UMC, Wheat Ridge (Denver), CO, service, at a community center, it was hot (fainting occurred).
First UMC, Rock Springs, WY, no service, they forgot we were coming
UMC of the Tetons, Jackson Hole, WY, hiking in the Tetons then rafting in the Snake River
Yellowstone day
Community UMC, Ogden, UT, service, Mormon Tabernacle, Great Salt Lake, 2001 Olympic, training center(It Snowed!), middle school youth from the host church spent the night
First UMC, Greeley, CO, service, Denver Museum of Natural History
Colby UMC, Colby, KS, service, only two people showed up at the service, the Pastor and his wife
